iSM IN THE CHURCH - SEXISM

Romans 12 v 4-5 : 'For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.' Has the church been complicit in the history of societal issues such as racism, classism and sexism in the world? In this series we explored RACISM, SEXISM, CLASSISM, SECULARISM.

Sexism: We had three ladies speak regarding this topic. This was a 3-in-30 session, where 3 people speak for 10 minutes each. This was a very passionate and personal journey for everyone in attendance.

Eloise Gabrielse spoke around the value of each human being in the sight of God.

Lolita Johnson spoke about us as people 'leaning' into what God requirement for us.

Judy De beer spoke about the impact of women in Jesus' ministry.
